Its all about team work now as members that have either finished or are waiting for grout to dry out help others finish their pieces.

Week 4 - Mara is demonstrating the process of grouting the Mosaic pieces - this is the final part of the process but it does get messy!

Mosaic Workshop - week 3
It's week 3 of the project at Westborough School. Here you can see some of the wonderful designs emerging.
In the middle Zareen Mirza is working on her piece 'Mosque' she says 'I like how Mosaics are done, I saw some in the Library at the school and asked how they were done, that's when Alison told me about the workshops Community Mosaics East were running with the Transformation Fund. Now I've seen how its done, I'd like to do more of it. I've learnt how to cut it, although I had done some before at home.'

What a great week. Some of the group have completed the stage of sticking down their tesserrae.
